Attend this CBR Dining Club event to discuss this most vital of IT investments: security. Specifically, we will be seeking to understand how IT departments can better achieve buy-in from the business when it comes to investment in, and compliance with, security.
It is all very well talking about the need for a clear and consistent security policy, which is a must-have to meet many standards of corporate governance and compliance.
But while IT can help to define a security policy, should it also be ‘The Enforcer’? How can senior IT decision-makers get buy-in to the policy from all levels within the business – from the CEO to the less empowered staff, and even temporary workers and contractors?
Should IT be taking a ‘carrot’, or ‘stick’ approach? Should the IT department work with the business to set and enforce security compliance? Or should IT wash its hands of the problem altogether?
Attend this event to learn:
After a panel discussion in which CBR editor Jason Stamper will ask an independent analyst and technology expert the difficult questions in this area, the floor will be opened to the audience to have your questions answered in an informal environment.
As always the events will be held in sumptuous surroundings where delegates can enjoy some spectacular cuisine as they learn from the expert speakers and share their experiences with the group. All in all, a night surely not to be missed.
